Finally, the wait is over, as India starts an overseas series with a victory to their name. In a thrilling Test match in Adelaide, the Indian bowlers delivered the goods whenever it required the most. Meanwhile, the wicket of Josh Hazlewood by Ravichandran Ashwin was a big relief, as the partnership looked threatening for India.

Meanwhile, on day five of the Test match, Ravichandran Ashwin, who fared pretty good throughout the Test, failed to get his mojo back. However, 0 kept his trust even in the tense moment, which delivered a glorious victory for the team, as he bagged a wicket when it mattered the most.

However, it was in the 120th over of the game, which saw the Indian team celebrating the victory. Nathan Lyon and Josh Hazlewood kept them in the chase with their exceptional batting display.

Now, just when things looked like drifting away for the visitors, Ashwin bowled a flighted delivery, which landed in one of those uncertain lengths for a batsman. Hazlewood, who couldn’t resist himself, went for a drive to the off-side.

Unfortunately, all he managed was an edge, which landed in the hands of KL Rahul at the second slip. And then, it was all about Virat Kohli and Co, celebrating the victory in a grand style.

Here is the video –

As it happened:

Initially, Virat Kohli won the toss and chose to bat first. It wasn’t a great start for India, as Australian fast bowling unit delivered the goods. They ripped Indian batting apart with their classic bowing display. However, Pujara stood in the middle like a warrior to score a solitary century of the match.

In reply, Australian batting too failed to knock it for their side. However, Travis Head batted beautifully to push Australia to a decent total on the board. In reply, team India set the target of 323 for the hosts to chase down. Though they were close, the Indian side stole the game with 31 runs difference.
