Indian National Cricket team bowling coach Bharat Arun has shared high praise on young Kuldeep Yadav saying that he has improved from the tour of England. Kuldeep returned with a five-wicket haul in his debut Test Down Under as Virat Kohli enforced a follow-on after bowling them out for 300.

Meanwhile, India is staring at their first-ever series win against Australia Down Under. India lead the series 2-1 following their victory in the Boxing Day Test. In the ongoing Test at Sydney, Australia are at 6-0 in the second innings, trailing by 316 runs, before bad light stopped play o day four. Bharat Arun noted that Kuldeep Yadav is a special bowler and his ability to use the crease makes him more effective.

Kuldeep is a very skill full bowler as he has proved it. He has had a very successful stint in ODIs, and probably he is the number one bowler in the one-day format. He is unique in the sense that very few chinaman bowlers around the world at the moment. Also, he brings googly to the fore,” said Arun.

And what makes him even more special is his ability to use the crease. He can bowl from over and round the wicket, and he can bowl closer to the wicket and also from wide of the crease. That gives him a lot variety. And I think there is a lot to come from that young kid,” he added.

Kuldeep has improved a lot

Bharat Arun said Kuldeep’s performance in the ongoing Test could not have come at a better time. He also stated that he has improved a lot and has a lot of cricket left in him.

He didn’t have a great outing in England when he played, but this Test match would give him a lot of confidence. And considering a spinner and his age, I think he has got a lot of cricket left in him,” he concluded.
