India’s mystery spinner Kuldeep Yadav was able to bamboozle Australian captain Tim Paine with flight. Yadav gave the air to the ball and invited the big drive from the Australian skipper. Paine felt for the bait and Kuldeep was able to hit the leg-stump bail. In fact, it was almost a half-volley and Paine would have been disappointed not to make the connection.
India has scalped six wickets and Australia have scored 236 runs. Thus, the hosts trail by a big margin of 386 runs. Meanwhile, Kuldeep Yadav picked the sharp caught and bowl to get the wicket of Travis Head. The southpaw batsman shimmied down the wicket and converted the ball into a full-toss.

Kuldeep has done a fine job.
However, Head made the mistake of hitting the ball straight back to Kuldeep. Furthermore, Yadav had got the big wicket of Usman Khawaja in the first session of the day’s play. The left-hander was looking to hit a big shot but could not get his timing right. Thus, Khawaja gave a simple catch to Cheteshwar Pujara.
On the other hand, Ravindra Jadeja is also amongst the wicket. Jadeja has taken two wickets as he sent back Shaun Marsh and Marcus Harris.

Moreover, Mohammed Shami got the better of Marnus Labuschagne whereas third Test match hero Jasprit Bumrah is still wicketless. Hence, India is in the driver’s seat and would aim to go all the way.
Meanwhile, the Sydney track is a featherbed and the hosts would have been disappointed by their batting show. Marcus Harris has thus far top-scored for Australia with 79 runs but the hosts are staring down the barrel of the gun. However, the match was stopped due to bad light and eventually the third day’s play has been called off..
