Former Indian National Cricket team skipper MS Dhoni, known for his cool and calm attitude on the cricket field lost his cool on Khaleel Ahmed during the second ODI against Australia at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

Meanwhile, Dhoni – the finisher – is alive, and so are India in the three-match series. You never write off a champion player like him, a fact that was hammered home with that timely six off the first ball which brought up his half-century. MS Dhoni, who received flak for his slow innings in Sydney, paced his innings beautifully to steer his side home despite losing Virat Kohli at a crucial juncture.

During his unbeaten 55-run knock, Dhoni lost his cool on reserve cricketer Khaleel Ahmed, who was in the ground with some water. Khaleel, who walked from the middle of the pitch triggered MS Dhoni as the latter looked animated before using a swear word on the young cricketer.

Meanwhile, chasing 299 runs, India got off to a fluent start. Both Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma struck boundaries and are putting the pressure on Australia’s bowlers to notch 27 runs in just five overs. Although Dhawan (32) departed Rohit and Virat Kohli looked ominous. However, an untimely wicket of Rohit Sharma once again put India on the backfoot.

However, took the control of things as he brought his 39th ODI ton to put his team close the winning mark before MS Dhoni finished things off in style.

Previously, the hosts once again produced a brilliant effort with the bat in the second fixture after opting to bat first. Even with Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s impressive bowling at the death, Australia have scored 93 off the final 10. They have posted a good score on board, especially after the wobbly start that they had. Shaun Marsh, drawing confidence from a fifty in the previous game, kicked on for more significant things today to lead Australia’s recovery from 26 for 2.

Their first burst of momentum came from targetting debutant Mohammed Siraj, which set things rolling for the hosts. The others in the lineup played around Marsh well. Glenn Maxwell, who batted at No 7 played some shots down the order to propel Australia to a good score.
