Australia vs India 2018: Watch - Rohit Sharma Bag a Splendid Catch in the Outfield

India’s limited over deputy Rohit Sharma might have missed out with the bat in the second innings. However, Sharma grabbed a fine catch to sent back Usman Khawaja after the southpaw batsman scored eight runs. Khawaja went for the big shot but got the leading edge while facing Ravichandran Ashwin.

Subsequently, Rohit Sharma was able to get himself into a good position before he dived forward to take a clean catch. Thus, it was a crucial wicket for India as Khawaja has the ability to bat long.

Meanwhile, Jasprit Bumrah played a key role in Usman Khawaja’s wicket. Bumrah bowled a tight prior over to the left-hander as he shackled him down. Furthermore, Khawaja was beaten on the outside edge by the fast bowler on multiple occasions.

Consequently, Khawaja looked restless while facing Ravichandran Ashwin in the next over and tried to charge him down the track. However, Usman could not get to the pitch of the ball and ended up lofting the ball to Rohit Sharma who was at the deep square boundary.

Thus, India is able to hold a tight grip on the match after taking Australia’s top three wickets. Australian openers were also dismissed cheaply. Aaron Finch was unfortunate as there was no glove in his dismissal. Furthermore, the host’s debutant Marcus Harris tried to play a cut shot which was too close to his body.

Hence, Ravichandran Ashwin has bagged two wickets whereas Mohammed Shami has taken a solitary wicket. Australia has a daunting task to chase down another 251 runs on the board. Ravichandran Ashwin is going to hold the key for India as the track is providing assistance to the spinner.
