Aliss Islam, the young bowler of Bangladesh has become the first cricketer in 2019 to take a hat-trick in Bangladesh Premier League 2019. He bagged three wickets in three deliveries for Dhaka Dynamites to hand them a sweet 2-run victory against Rangpur Riders. It was a special for Islam, as he is making his debut in BPL.

Initially, he got rid of Mohammad Mithun with a stunning delivery later sent back Mashrafe Mortaza in the very next delivery. Then he once again used his mystery carrom ball to get the leading edge of Reza, which was pouched safely by Shakib Al Hasan at slip cordon.

It was the over, which completely changed the course of the game. The match suddenly moved from Rangpur Riders to Dhaka Dynamites, who made perfect use of the spell and bagged a 2-run victory. In total, Aliss Islam finished with 4/26 in his 4-over spell.

As it happened:

Coming to the match status, initially, it was Rangpur Riders, who won the toss and chose to bowl first. They got the success pretty quickly, as they sent both the openers for 19 runs on the board. The number 3 and 4 batsmen also lost their wickets for a cheap score to their name.

However, then came, Kieron Pollard, who changed the complexion of the game with his stunning knock. He smashed a brutal 62 off just 26 deliveries with the help of 5 boundaries and 4 Sixes. The perfect ending by Russell saw Dhaka put 183 on the board.

In reply, Rangpur lost their openers for 25 on the board. However, Mohammad Mithun and Rilee Rossouw have been fantastic for Riders. They added a 121-run partnership for the third wicket to make things look bleak for Dhaka.

However, then came the spell from Aliss Islam, which changed the course of the game. Within the span of 1 over, everything turned towards Dhaka Dynamites. When it all boiled down to 14 off 1 over, Aliss Islam once again delivered the goods.
