Bangladesh President Makes Shocking Revelations on Shakib Al Hasan Injury

Of late, Shakib Al Hasan’s injury has been the frequent headliner in Bangladesh news. He has been facing the issue for a long time now and also missed a few crucial matches for Bangladesh in Asia Cup 2018. However, they neglected the injury, and now, it is threatening to pull out Shakib out from the 2019 World Cup. Meanwhile, Bangladesh president, Nazmul Hasan reveals the shocking news.
Speaking to a local news channel, the president Nazmul Hasan quoted he is surprised to see Shakib Al Hasan taking part in the Asia Cup 2018. He added Shakib’s finger was swollen and not in a condition to play the international game.

Explaining the scenario to the reporter, Nazmul added Shakib wasn’t at his best when he spoke to him in his last meeting. He said Shakib was receiving his medication and was wanting to take the treatment in the USA.
“When I was about to left Abu Dhabi prior to Pakistan’s match, I noticed the big swelling in Shakib’s finger which I never witnessed before. He said it wasn’t possible for him to play but in the natural tendon, some others insisted him to play in the semi-final. We even didn’t know that Shakib Al Hasan was going to participate in the Asia Cup,” Nazmul quoted.
“I instantly said him to go back. And that was the last time I talked to him before returning to Dhaka. I visited him in the Apollo Hospital; checked and rechecked all of his medicine. Shakib said he wanted to go to London before reaching the USA. But I heard he went to Australia. And I asked him about the condition,” he added.

Further, he added the board always took the proper care of their players in maintaining their fitness.
Speaking of Shakib Al Hasan scenario, he quoted it was all happened in a sudden, which made the things worse.
“Like all of you, we are also out of knowledge about Shakib’s extension of the condition and how it turned out to be so bad all of a sudden. Because no one like any doctors and physiotherapist told us that. We never neglected anyone’s trouble. If we could know the grave situation, I must take the initiative to treat Shakib properly,” BCB head said.
However, it would be interesting to see how things would pan out for Shakib Al Hasan. In a case of his injury getting extended, it will be a big area of concern for Bangladesh heading into the 2019 World Cup.
