On the other hand, Langeveldt will replace West Indies’ legend, Courtney Walsh. Like Joshi, Bangladesh also parted ways with the legendary pacer. Langeveldt was recently the coach of Afghanistan cricket team and had a stint with South African team earlier.

Unlike Vettori, he has been handed a full-time contract and will perform the job for a period of two years. The former right-arm pacer played 72 ODIs and 6 Test matches.

For now, Bangladesh have not appointed any full-time coach. Presently, Khaled Mahmud is donning the hat on a part-time basis.
