At a time when the likes of MS Dhoni, Quinton de Kock, Jos Buttler continue to hog the limelights because of their wicketkeeping skills, England women team’s star Sarah Taylor never fails to make her presence felt. Time and again, the England wicketkeeper has left the cricketing world spellbound with her wicketkeeping skills.
Well, Sarah Taylor recently pulled off yet another stunning piece of stumping in the first ODI against Australia. In the 18th over of that game, Sarah Taylor left Ellyse Perry with her breathtaking glove work. Natalie Sciver bowled one down the leg side. Perry tried to glance it fine but lost her balance in doing so.

She briefly came out of her crease and it was more than enough for Sarah Taylor to show her unbelievable skills. She collected the ball brilliantly and took off the bails in a flash to send back Perry for just 3.
Here is a video of that stumping from Sarah Taylor:

Talking about the game, Australia beat England by two wickets in a thrilling ODI to take a 2-0 lead in the multi-format Women’s Ashes. Having been put in to bat, England slipped to 19-4 but Nat Sciver’s 64 helped get them to 177. For Australia, Ellyse Perry was the pick of the bowlers, picking 3 for 43.
Alyssa Healy then top-scored with 66 as Australia, who had been 105-5, chased the target with two wickets to spare. Australia kept losing wickets at regular intervals but did manage to cross the line in the end. Australia, in fact, also beat England in the second ODI. England, the reigning world champions, scored 217 thanks to Tammy Beaumont’s maiden Ashes century. In reply, the visitors chased down the total by losing six wickets in the 46th over.
Both the teams will now play on more ODI, three T20 internationals and one Test match throughout July.
