Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni is facing the heat from the fans for including out-of-form Kedar Jadhav in the playing eleven for the crucial clash against Rajasthan Royals on Monday.

Both Jadhav and MS Dhoni failed to deliver once again as their awful run with the bat in IPL 2020 continued. The CSK skipper walked out to bat as early as the ninth and had enough overs to settle down before going for the big shots. However, the veteran batsman failed to do so.

After a painstaking stay at the crease that saw him score 28 runs off 28 balls, he was run-out in the 18th over when CSK were in dire need of some quick runs. His dismissal brought Kedar Jadhav at the crease and the right-handed batsman failed miserably.

He faced 7 deliveries and managed to score only four runs as CSK finished on 125 for 5 in the allotted 20 overs. The three-time champions once again failed to show any urgency with the bat as they finished on a below-par total. Ravindra Jadeja top-scored for the side, scoring an unbeaten 35 off 30 balls.

Kedar Jadhav has been in terrible form this season and his latest knock has not helped his cause either. As soon as the CSK finished their innings, the fans took to Twitter to slam MS Dhoni for picking his former India teammate in the playing eleven.

Some were furious that Jadhav is being constantly backed over N Jagadeesan who had a decent debut but has not got chance since then. Some fans even said that MS Dhoni keeps picking Jadhav in the team just to hide his own failures. Dhoni is not in a good form this season either and has been facing non-stop criticism from several quarters. The latest failure is bound to increase the pressure on him.
