Arjun Tendulkar, son of the legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar, has once again grabbed the headlines and this time for taking a power nap at the Lord’s Cricket Ground in London during the ongoing second Test between England and India.

Meanwhile, Arjun is currently in England training at MCC academy. He also bowled in the nets as the India team prepared for the ongoing Test.

Moreover, a video was also doing rounds when he castled Indian opener KL Rahul in the nets.

The next day, Arjun turned out to be a groundsman. The 18-year-old, Arjun Tendulkar was very much part of the groundstaff that worked hard all day at Lord’s.

This Test match has witnessed a lot of intervals and ground staff have had a tough time. Later Arjun admitted as part of Lord’s management contract with Middlesex Tendulkar Cricket Academy.

Arjun’s multitasking in England continued as he sold digital radios outside the venue of the second Test on Saturday (August 11) which earned praise from Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh, who is commentating for the five-match Test series.

Earlier, he was also spotted with English woman cricketer Danielle Wyatt at an eatery.

However, now, his act of taking a power nap has grabbed the attention of the social media users. He was lying near the boundary rope just behind the LED advertising hoardings.

England in the driver’s seat against India at Lord’s:

The hosts rode on a timely 180-run partnership between Chris Woakes and Jonny Bairstow to save England from a precarious situation. India dominated the morning session with Mohammed Shami striking twice at the stroke of lunch.

Since then, it was all England as Indian bowlers had tiny things do. Bairstow played some gorgeous looking shot as he toppled Virat Kohli as the highest run-scorer in 2018. On the other hand, Woakes brought a magnificent hundred.

Although Bairstow departed on 93, Sam Curran and Woakes kept the proceedings going. England now leads by 250 runs with two days still left in the game.
