Harbhajan Singh Engages in a War of Words with a Twitter User

India’s veteran off-spinner, Harbhajan Singh engaged himself in a war of words with a Twitter user. Harbhajan commented on an ANI post that humanity is fading away from the world.

The media Twitter handle reported that a minority Sikh community in Peshawar had to move to other parts of the country because of attacks by Islamic fundamentalists.

Harbhajan Singh Raises Questions on Humanity.

The ANI post had read as, “The minority Sikh community in Peshawar, Pakistan, is moving to other parts of the country following repeated attacks by Islamic fundamentalists”.

However, a Twitter user commented Harbhajan should first be concerned with the issues of his country. He asked that Harbhajan should comment on the minorities getting killed in India.

However, Harbhajan told the Twitter user that he is talking about the humanity in general.

Meanwhile, Harbhajan Singh played for the Chennai Super Kings in the recently concluded IPL. The Turbanator went on to lift his fourth IPL trophy. The veteran had won three IPL trophies with Mumbai Indians whom he represented for a decade.

In fact, Harbhajan performance wasn’t up to the mark. The experienced campaigner scalped seven wickets in the 12 innings he played for the Men in Yellow. Bhajji conceded his runs at an economy of 8.48.

Meanwhile, this is not a first time a cricketer has raised his voice over a political issue. Former Indian batsman and Harbhajan Singh’s teammate Gautam Gambhir is also vocal about such matters.

Harbhajan then replied to the above post. Bhajji post read as, “It’s so sad to know such things r still happening…Insaniyat khatam ho Gayi hai”.
