Since his Test debut last year in January, Jasprit Bumrah has set the stage on fire. He managed to trouble the batsmen in all his overseas outings, taking five-wicket hauls in South Africa, England, Australia, and in the Caribbean. In 12 red-ball matches, the Gujarat pacer has bagged 62 wickets at a stunning average of 19.24.

Bumrah has proved himself as one of the best bowlers of this generation in all stages of the game. His bowling in death overs especially has made him an asset for the side. The Indian team missed his services against Bangladesh in the first T20 international in Delhi on Sunday. In his absence, the hosts went down to a spirited Bangladeshi side.
