Well, the troubles are continuing for Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul. They have been asked to make a return back home and be available for the further enquiry. Till then, the duo will be under suspension as well. The suspension meant that both cricketers will be missing the ongoing Australian series followed by the New Zealand tour.
Hardik Pandya has passed on sexist comments in the recent talk show named Koffee With Karan that has a huge fan base in India. Just after Hardik Pandya passing the comments, the people out there showed their anger on the social media causing outrage to Hardik Pandya.
Meanwhile, the respective board has issued a show-cause notice, in which, the concerned cricketers failed to give the proper explanation. For the same, they have been suspended and the further enquiry is set to be made on the duo.
Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul will return home:
The respective board in their statement quoted that the concerned cricketers will make their way back to India for the further enquiry. Until the further development, the duo will not feature in any form of the game in any level.
“The CoA in accordance with the BCCI has decided to suspend Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul. They will be out from playing any form of cricket after their comments on a TV show. The duo will now return to India and an enquiry and proceedings will be made against them for misconduct and indiscipline,” the CoA said in a statement.
It further stated that in accordance to Rule 41(6) of the BCCI Constitution, “the players are hereby suspended with immediate effect from participating in any manner whatsoever in any match or function or event or activity that is authorized, organized, sanctioned, recognized or supported in any way by the BCCI, the ICC or any State Association, until final adjudication of the matter.”
Well, it would be interesting to see how things would pan out for both youngsters. It is not only about their careers but also going too harsh on them might lead to some unknown disturbances.
For the ongoing 1st ODI in Australia, the Indian Team Management has replaced Hardik Pandya with Ravindra Jadeja in the playing XI. On the other hand, Dinesh Karthik has got the game in middle-order.
