Here comes the prediction for upcoming 2019 World Cup. Meanwhile, this time it is Ashes winner Ian Bell, who has picked the hosts England, India and Pakistan as the favourites to win the trophy in the upcoming edition. Meanwhile, Ian Bell feels England has got a great chance to win the mega event for the first in history. Furthermore, Bell has also placed his bet on Pakistan and India, who have got the required ingredients in them to push for a victory.

It is going to be an exciting tournament – Ian Bell

The former batsman, who is the second leading run-scorer in World Cups for England, quoted the Poms have played an aggressive cricket and are tasting the success more often than not. During the course, he feels Pakistan can surprise everyone with a lot of match-winners in their side.

Further, Ian Bell believes India is always a tough nut to crack down when it comes to World Cups. All in all, Bell feels an exciting edition of the World Cup is at the store.

“I think people are saying they [England] are the favourites and rightly so,” Bell told Sky Sports. “The 50-over cricket they have played over the last three years has been outstanding. It’s going to be an exciting tournament but, as we saw in the ICC Champions Trophy last year, Pakistan is a very dangerous side with lots and lots of match-winners and exciting players in their team. India, as they always are at World Cups, are going to be very strong,” Ian Bell quoted.

”I wouldn’t be surprised if Australia is there or thereabouts if they get their bowling attack together and fully fit and get a squad together from all the players they can pick from. I think they will still be very dangerous when it comes around to the World Cup. And also, I think it will be a very interesting tournament but, for me at the minute, I would be looking at either England, Pakistan or India to go all the way,” he added.

Well, it would be interesting to see how things would pan out in England next year. Hopefully, as Ian Bell quoted, an exciting 2019 World Cup would be waiting for the cricket fanatics.
