Bangladesh’s talisman all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan is breaking all the records in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2019. The southpaw all-rounder became the first player in the history of the World Cup to score 500 runs and take 10 wickets. Hasan has been in sublime form in the ongoing event and he has been the standout player of the tournament.

Hasan has so far amassed 519 runs in the seven innings at a staggering average of 103.80 and strike rate of 97.56. Currently, he is the second highest run-getter behind India’s opener Rohit Sharma, who has accumulated 544 runs in the tournament.

On the other hand, the southpaw spinner has scalped 11 wickets in the tournament. Hence, the gun all-rounder has ticked the right boxes for the Tigers in the ongoing tourney. Hasan has been in fine form and he would like to continue his good form going. The left-handed batsman has scored four half-centuries and two hundred in the ongoing tournament.

Hasan is batting unbeaten on 52 runs and he is going to hold the key for Bangladesh in the run-chase against India. It is a must-win match for Bangladesh whereas India will also confirm their semifinal qualification with the win. Bangladesh will also need to defeat Pakistan on 5th July.

Meanwhile, Greg Chappell and Vivian Richards have scored 500 runs and took more than ten wickets in the B & H World series.

On the other hand, India has set a target of 315 runs for the Bangladesh side. Rohit Sharma continued his outstanding form going as the flamboyant batsman scored a fine knock of 104 runs.

Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul provided another good start as they added a fine alliance of 180 runs. KL Rahul also looked positive as he scored a good knock of 77 runs. However, India could not add the finishing touches to their total.
