The Men in Blues have had a good practice leading to the World Cup. The India skipper gave major injury scare during India’s practice session at the Ageas Bowl, Southampton. Kohli was seen with physio Patrick Farhat who was applying spray on the former’s finger. Virat Kohli also carried a glass of ice water with his thumb immersed in it while walking back after the practice session. However, a source in the India team revealed the talismanic run-scorer is doing fine and will be fit for selection.

“He got hit while batting but is doing fine. There is nothing to worry as of now,” team sources told PTI.

June 5 will see an intense battle between Virat Kohli and Kagiso Rabada at Southampton. However, Rabada seemed to have stirred the challenge before the match calling Kohli immature. While Rabada’s reference is to Kohli wearing his heart on his sleeve on-field, but various reports have twisted the comments. The young fast bowler said that he is not thinking about Kohli only and planning about the whole game as South Africa look to bounce back in the World Cup.
