In the wake of India’s shock loss to New Zealand in the semifinal of the World Cup 2019, controversial Bollywood figure Kamaal Rashid Khan aka KRK has come down hard on skipper Virat Kohli. The Bollywood critic has time and again criticised the India skipper and did not let the opportunity pass as India crashed out of the World Cup.

New Zealand came up with a stunning bowling effort to beat their fancied opponents by 18 runs and take another step closer to their maiden World Cup title. India were the favourites to win the clash in Manchester. Their chances of winning the game looked brighter when they managed to restrict New Zealand to just 239 for 8.

But New Zealand’s pacers gave India a big reality check by firing on all cylinders right from the word go. Matt Henry and Kane Williamson left India in all sorts of trouble by reducing them to 5 for 3. While Henry accounted for Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul, Boult picked up the prized scalp of Virat Kohli. India soon found themselves 4 down for 24 and then 6 down for 92.

The game looked very much over at that moment before Ravindra Jadeja and MS Dhoni revived India’s hopes. The two mixed caution with aggression to keep India in hunt. However, they were out at crucial junctures and India were eventually all out for 221. Both Jadeja and Dhoni scored fighting fifties but their efforts were not just enough.

And as soon as the game ended, KRK took to Twitter to slam Kohli. KRK called Kohli the worst captain of the India and asked him to resign, writing:

“Dear #Kohli even though you are a worst captain in the history of Indian cricket but still you will get many advertisements to earn crores of rupees and play with emotions of Public. If you do have little shame then resign from captaincy today only.”
