India’s vice-captain Rohit Sharma got stumped after scoring a fifty in the third ODI in ongoing India vs New Zealand 2019 series. The flamboyant right-hander tried to play a cross-batted shot after advancing down the track to New Zealand’s spinner Mitchell Santner. However, the southpaw tweaker was guile in pulling back the length and thus India’s deputy could not get to the pitch of the ball.

However, Rohit Sharma scored a good knock of 62 runs off 77 balls to keep the run-chase on the right path. Rohit added 113 runs alliance with his skipper Virat Kohli, who scored 60 runs from 74 balls.

This was Rohit’s second consecutive fifty as he had scored a match-winning knock of 87 in the second ODI in India vs New Zealand 2019 series. Thus, the flamboyant batsman was awarded the Man of the match award.

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma is going to hold the captaincy reins in the final two ODIs and T20I series. India’s full-time skipper Virat Kohli is going to be rest. Thus, it would be a good opportunity for the India National Cricket Team to test their bench strength.

India cruised to another convincing win after winning the third ODI by seven wickets and even had seven overs in hand. Mohammed Shami scalped three wickets and gave away 41 runs in his nine overs spell. Furthermore, Hardik Pandya and Yuzvendra Chahal took two wickets in the first innings.

Meanwhile, India will not like to take their foot off the accelerator in the ongoing series. The visitors had won the first ODI by eight wickets and they won the second by 90 runs. Hence, India has dominated the series and it has been one-way traffic.
