India vs Sri Lanka 2020: 3rd T20I, Pune – India’s Predicted Playing XI; As expected, the Indian National Cricket Team has dominated Sri Lanka thoroughly in the second game of the three-match T20I series. The bowling department, alongside the top-order batsman, delivered goods to make things fall in place. They have no concerns whatsoever, with all the players showing their class in the middle.

Following a crunching victory in Indore, the team will head to Pune with an aim to seal the series. Meanwhile, a few youngsters would like to utilise the chance to make things fall in place in their personal careers.

1. Shikhar Dhawan:

The flamboyant batsman is under the scanner after failing to score runs at a higher strike rate in the second game in Indore. He scored 32 runs off 29 balls, which furtherly gave strength to his critics. However, Dhawan would want to prove his mettle in the final game of the series.

2. KL Rahul:

The young KL Rahul has shown that he is capable of scoring runs consistently. After having an incredible series against West Indies, he started Sri Lanka series on a grand note as well. In Pune, he would like to make the most of the flat deck.

3. Virat Kohli:

The skipper might be back at the number 3 slot for the team. He is in great form and would like to deliver a similar kind of performance in the final T20I of the series as well. Besides his batting, Virat Kohli will also be the cynosure of the eyes for his captaincy. So far, he did a tremendous job for the team.

4. Shreyas Iyer:

He got the opportunity to bat higher up in the order in the previous game. He used that to perfection by scoring an unbeaten 34* off 26 balls. It was laced with three boundaries and one huge six straight over the bowler.

5. Rishabh Pant:

He didn’t get much time in the middle with the bat. However, Rishabh Pant did well behind the wickets to stump Oshada Fernando and grabbed a nice catch in Navdeep Saini’s final over. He will be one of the players to watch out in the final game.

6. Shivam Dube:

It was one of those games for Shivam Dube, where he did not get the opportunity to showcase his skills either with the ball or the bat. Apart from one catch at mid-off, he didn’t take much part in the second game. However, he wishes to get his chance to display his cricketing skills in the middle.

7. Washington Sundar:

The off-spinner Washington Sundar was the bowler to give a breakthrough for India in the second game when Avishka Fernando and Gunathilaka were going strong in the middle. He controlled things with his accurate lengths in the powerplay overs.

8. Shardul Thakur:

The fast bowler had a good game in Indore with the ball. He picked three wickets in a single over to make things fall in place for the team. The youngster would like to finish the series on a positive note to get better chances in the upcoming series.

9. Kuldeep Yadav:

He broke the backbone of Sri Lanka by dismissing Kusal Perera and Oshada Fernando in his initial couple of overs. Though he leaked runs, Kuldeep didn’t disappoint his skipper in giving the breakthroughs. He will once again be the key for India to get the better of Sri Lanka.

10. Navdeep Saini:

The youngster is bowling with some gas in the middle. He is mixing his pace with variations to trouble the batsman in the powerplay and in middle overs of the game. Navdeep Saini already made an impact in his first game against Sri Lanka and would like to repeat the show on Friday.

11. Jasprit Bumrah:

Bumrah hasn’t had the best of returns to the game. However, he got the quality and control to show his mettle for the team. The right-handed fast bowler would love to make the most of the game in Pune to get back to his self. Bumrah will be one of the players to watch out in the final game of the series.
