India vs West Indies 2019: 3rd T20I, Mumbai – India’s Predicted Playing XI;??After a long time, the Indian National Cricket Team led by Virat Kohli looked pretty ordinary on the field during the second T20I at Thiruvananthapuram. West Indies outplayed them in all sections of the game, which moved the series to the Wankhede Stadium with the series scoreline reading 1-1.
The Indian team had a fantastic last couple of seasons at home, and they would like to maintain the stats intact with a victory in the Wankhede Stadium. However, it isn’t going to be easy, as the opposition got players, who can turn the tables with ease. Meanwhile, we figured out the playing XI of the Indian team for the deciding game. Have a look:
India’s Predicted Playing XI:
1. Rohit Sharma:

Initially, the vice-captain of the Indian team was expected to be in the race for the leading run-scorers of the series. Surprisingly, it wasn’t the case. He registered scores of 8 and 15 in the games played at Hyderabad and Thiruvanthapuram respectively. However, the final match is set to be played in his home ground, which would help Rohit Sharma to get his charisma back.

2. KL Rahul:

He started the series well with a brilliant 62-run knock at Hyderabad. However, he failed to make things fall in place in the second T20I in Thiruvananthapuram. KL Rahul holed out in the deep off Khary Pierre when he tried to hit a maximum in the square-leg region. He will be the cynosure of the eyes at the Wankhede Stadium.
3. Virat Kohli:

The skipper of the Indian team will have work to do in the decider to make things happen. Apart from his batting, it will be interesting to see how Virat Kohli leads the team in the decider. He is the leading run-scorer of the series with 113 runs in the series and would like to add a few more to help his side lift the trophy once again.
4. Rishabh Pant:

The youngster is walking on the pieces of thin ice. Despite getting enough chances, Rishabh Pant is failing to make the most of the opportunity. Once again, he failed in the first couple of games, in which, he registered 18 and 33* at Hyderabad and Thiruvananthapuram respectively. The stylish southpaw will be in the spotlight for his work with the wicket-keeping gloves as well.
5. Shreyas Iyer:

It will be a return to home for Shreyas Iyer. The flamboyant batsman didn’t have a great series so far, having registered 4 and 10 in Hyderabad and Thiruvananthapuram respectively. He would like to make the most of the game at his home ground to strengthen his place in the team.
6. Shivam Dube:

He had a sensational game with the bat at Thiruvananthapuram. Shivam Dube made the most of the opportunity by scoring a quickfire 54 to set a perfect platform for the middle-order batsman. However, he needs to work on his bowling skills to gain the trust of the team. Alongside Shreyas Iyer and Rohit Sharma, Shivam Dube is also a local kid.
7. Washington Sundar:

The all-rounder might get one more opportunity to prove his skills for the team. Though he proved costly in Hyderabad, Washington Sundar made a fine comeback with a decent spell in the Thiruvananthapuram. Besides his bowling, he will be vital for the team down the batting order.
8. Yuzvendra Chahal:

A lot will depend on his performance for India. Whenever he performed well, the team always enjoyed the success in this format of the game. He bowled well in Hyderabad but failed to make things fall in place in Thiruvananthapuram. It will be interesting to see how he restrains West Indies batsman at the Wankhede Stadium.
9. Mohammed Shami:

India might bring him back in the squad at the expense of Ravindra Jadeja. The right-handed fast bowler developed his skills to deliver the goods for the team. Mohammed Shami got decent numbers against West Indies team, which would prompt the team to go for him.
10. Bhuvneshwar Kumar:

Though he didn’t pick a single wicket in the series so far, he was the standout bowler for India in both the games. He created chances, but the poor display of fielding didn’t help his cause. In both games, he registered identical figures, with 36 runs in 4 overs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar will be crucial for India at the Wankhede Stadium.
11. Deepak Chahar:

The young-fast bowler failed to repeat his magic in the series so far. Windies batsmen took him to the cleaners in both the games at Hyderabad and Thiruvananthapuram respectively. In the first game, he leaked runs at an economy rate of 14.00 while in the second game, he leaked at 10 per over. Deepak Chahar might get one more chance to make things happen.
