Team India fast bowler Umesh Yadav struck twice with the new ball moments after lunch to put them ahead against Windies on day three of the third Test at Hyderabad.
Meanwhile, the visitors put themselves ahead reducing India to a mere 367 runs with Jason Holder returning with five wickets. Virat Kohli & Co took a lead of 56 runs as Ravichandran Ashwin stretched the lead partnering Shardul Thakur.
However, India continued to dominate as Ravindra Jadeja struck dismissing Hope (28). Since then, Sunil Ambris and Roston Chase started to build the innings as they went ahead of the host’s lead. Furthermore, just at the stroke of tea, Umesh Yadav struck twice to send six of their batter back to the hut. He dismissed Roston Chase and Shane Dowrich as they went to lunch with 20 run lead.
Previously, Windies started the day on a high as Jason Holder used the new ball to great effect to skittle India’s first innings. Rishabh Pant and Ajinkya Rahane shared a massive partnership to take over the first innings total.
