India vs Windies 2018: Rohit Sharma Congratulates Team on Dominating Performance

India limited overs deputy Rohit Sharma congratulated the team on dominating performances against the depleted Windies side. Team India showed its supremacy as they were too good for the visitors. Rohit said there were some special performances from the Indian players. One of the biggest positive for the Indian team from the series against the Windies was Prithvi Shaw.
The young lad made his debut and scored a magnificent 134 in his maiden International innings. The prodigy batsman backed it with another free-flowing knock of 70 in the first innings of the second Test match. The Mumbai batsman scored a total of 237 runs in the three innings of the series.
It was a clinical performance from India.
Therefore, Shaw was awarded as the Man of the series in his debut series. Consequently, it was a special start to the career of Prithvi Shaw.
There were other positives as well for the Indian team. Ravindra Jadeja scored his maiden Test hundred as he continued his good form going. Furthermore, Ravichandran Ashwin was also able to get amongst the wickets.
Kuldeep Yadav was also able to impress with his performance as he scalped his maiden five-wicket haul in the red ball version. Another Yadav, Umesh Yadav was able to tick the right boxes. The fast bowler scalped his maiden ten-wicket haul in the longest format of the game.
Umesh got the ball to reverse at a good speed and reaped rewards for the same. On the other hand, Rishabh Pant scored two scores of 92 whereas Ajinkya Rahane scored a crucial knock of 80 in the second Test. Thus, it was a complete collective effort from the Indian team.
