Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) will host Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the 44th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018. Ravichandran Ashwin led team so far won six matches out of the ten they have played.

Thus, Punjab team finds themselves at the third place in the points table. Consequently, the Punjab-based outfit will like to strengthen their playoffs hopes.

On the other hand, Knight Riders had suffered a huge loss in the last match against Mumbai Indians. Thus, Dinesh Karthik led team would like to come back strong.

Such a big loss can put down the shoulders in the dressing room and Karthik must ensure that the morale within the camp is high.
