IPL 2018: BCCI Restricts Banned David Warner from Visiting India for IPL Games
Australian cricketer David Warner was banned for 12 months by Cricket Australia from playing cricket in international cricket.
Soon after the announcement, BCCI also took a similar stand and banned him from participating in the IPL 2018 along with skipper Steven Smith.
The loss of David Warner has impacted the league. He is the most sought-after foreign cricketer in the league and won two orange caps in the previous three editions. However, according to Candice Warner, wife of David, the cricketer was also banned from watching and supporting his team in India.
One of the fans had asked Candy on Instagram about Warner’s presence in Hyderabad.
However, Candice Warner has confirmed that the BCCI has stopped him from coming over to watch the games. She also further insisted that Warner is very disappointed, as he is restricted from supporting his favourite team.
#Day29 #WarnerOffField Now this is surprising !! @davidwarner31 wish to be here yet BCCI isn't okay with it? When @CountyChamp has given the green signal for players to come down and play, why not BCCI at least let them watch and support? @CandyFalzon @tarun_0707 @SunRisersC pic.twitter.com/MlppUahsBi

David Warner is not part of Sunrisers Hyderabad proceedings this season. However, he will be available for selection next year. It will not be a surprise about him playing in next season. He is undoubtedly the best foreign cricketer and also an excellent leader of the side.
He had led Sunrisers Hyderabad to their only IPL title in 2016 and is loved vividly by fans across Hyderabad.
Sunrisers Miss Warner’s Explosive Batting
David Warner is one of the finest hitters of the cricket ball in the shortest format. He along with Shikhar Dhawan has forged one of the best opening combinations in IPL history.
Dhawan’s anchoring of the innings coupled with Warner’s explosiveness made Sunrisers Hyderabad one of the best sides in the league. But with the ban on Warner this season, the team management is finding it tough to get the right combination at the top.
Shikhar Dhawan is playing more consistently but they were unable to make the most out of the power play overs. Despite losing only one game in their first four games, this remains their biggest concern going into the important phase of the season.
However, it remains to be seen if they will look at the likes of Alex Hales, who was brought in as a replacement for Warner.
The English opener is very explosive at the top, but the side has the embarrassment of riches to choose from.
