IPL 2018: Dean Jones Terms Mayanti Langer as the 'Biggest Star' of IPL

Former Australian cricketer, Dean Jones is rooting for the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) to go and win the final on Sunday (May 27) against solid-looking Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Meanwhile, Sunrisers have been outstanding with their bowling unit throughout the season. However, they need to cross one final hurdle o lay their hands on the trophy for the second time in their domestic professional league Twenty20 history.

It will be a cracker of a match when some exciting talents will fight out at the iconic ground. This season, meanwhile, sensational catches, some awful drops and a few jaw-dropping dramatic moments. Well, this season had everything in it – to entertain the fans.

But cricketer-turned-commentator and coach Jones rated one of Star Sports’ hosts as the biggest star of this IPL season.

An astute reader of the game and someone who has been around for a long period, Mayanti has amassed a great fan base for herself over the years.

Moreover, she has done a terrific job hosting the pre-match and post-match talk shows and earned a huge compliment from the Aussie legend. Pertinently, Mayanti’s husband Stuart Binny represented Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the IPL 2018.

Recently, Dean Jones served as the chief coach of title winners Islamabad United (IU) in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Interestingly, he came into the spotlight, for penning down notes in the red-book.
