India’s off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin appreciated the bowling skills of Pakistan premier fast bowler Mohammad Amir. The left-arm fast paceman bowled a beauty to get rid of England wicketkeeper-batsman Jonny Bairstow. The ball came back to find the gap between bat and pad. Bairstow wore a surprised look as Amir was able to hit the top of off stump.

The incident took place in the 36th over of England’s second innings. Before Bairstow dismissal, Amir was able to get rid of Dawid Malan.

In the same over, the southpaw batsman was caught brilliantly by Pakistan skipper Sarfraz Ahmed. Amir two-wicket over had put the Three Lions on the backfoot.

Mohammad Amir is one of the best fast bowlers going around.

Meanwhile, Pakistan was able to put their noses in front after they reduced the hosts to 110 for six wickets.

However, England was able to bounce back after the seventh wicket stand between Jos Buttler and debutant Dominic Bess.

Both the right-handers were able to put on an alliance of 125 runs. Moreover, both of them are still unbeaten.

Buttler, who was in great form in the IPL for Rajasthan Royals (RR) justified his selection as he is batting on 66 runs. Meanwhile, debutant Dominic Bess also scored his fine maiden fifty in the red-ball form.
