IPL 2018: Final Squad Of Rajasthan Royals

Rajasthan Royals have always been known for using less amount of money on the auction day, but this time, the comeback franchise opened up their bank account for the players and spent a total of Rs 78.35 Crore to buy 23 players.

For the second runnings year, Ben Stokes emerged out as the highest paid player when he bagged a contract worth Rs. 12.50 Crore with Rajasthan Royals. Talking of Indian players, it was Jaydev Unadkat who shone and emerged out as highest paid player after being paid Rs 11.50 Crore by the same franchise.

Apart from these two, Krishnappa Gowtham was another big buy for them. He was sold for an amount of Rs 6.2 Crore, Rs 4.2 Crore more what he bagged in the previous auction.,

Rajasthan Royals had already decided to retain Steven Smith in the IPL retention ceremony, and they have already confirmed their captain for the upcoming season. Along with him, the franchise was also able to retain Ajinkya Rahane by the use of Right to Match (RTM) card.

The 11th edition of IPL will start on April 7, a day before which a grand ceremony will take place in Mumbai.
