The former South African skipper Graeme Smith has joined the Star Sports expert team for the remainder of the IPL 2018.

Smith will team-up with broadcaster’s team which is providing its insights in the ongoing season of Indian Premier League.

Furthermore, the former Proteas captain is happy to be back in India. Meanwhile, Graeme Smith had played for the Rajasthan Royals in the initial stages of the Indian Premier League in the past.

Smith will be seen providing his insights on Star Sports.

Interestingly, Smith will be giving his insights in the Wednesday’s match between Rajasthan Royals against Delhi Daredevils. The southpaw will join the expert team of Damien Fleming, Dean Jones, Brad Hogg, Anil Kumble and Scott Styris.

Smith was also seen commentating in the recently concluded series of South Africa and Austalia. Graeme had also provided his inputs in India’s tour of South Africa.

It is a do-or-die situation for Delhi Daredevils.

Meanwhile, Smith had played 29 Indian Premier League matches. The former southpaw who is known to take South African cricket to great heights had scored 739 runs at an average of 28.42 in the IPL.

Smith made his IPL debut in the inaugural 2008 season against Deccan Chargers. The Lanky batsman played his last IPL match in the 2011 edition against Mumbai Indians.

Graeme Smith is expected to have a great time in the IPL. Many cricket experts are enriching the fans experience with their deep knowledge of the game. Meanwhile, Smith’s former team, Rajasthan Royals will take on Delhi Daredevils in the 32nd match of the season.

Rajasthan has won three out of the seven matches they have played. On the other hand, Delhi Daredevils have only won two games out of the eight they have played. Every game from now is like a must-win contest for the Delhi team.
