One of the most pro-active owners Shah Rukh Khan has left no stone unturned in making his presence felt in almost all of his team’s matches.

Not just in Kolkata, the veteran actor has also travelled to the other venues to ensure that his boys get enough support from his side.

Watching Shah Rukh Khan cheer for Kolkata Knight Riders from the stands has become a common sight at the Indian Premier League (IPL) over the years. The Bollywood superstar makes sure that he is present for most of his team’s matches.
However, watching ‘King Khan’ in the stands rooting for his team could be a rare sight this season as he is ready to miss most of Kolkata Knight Rider’s fixtures because of the shooting of his new movie in the US.

A source close to the Bollywood actor said:
“He is shooting a film and the schedule has been really crazy.”
The source also added:
“A part of the film’s shooting is scheduled in the U.S. We are trying to finalise the dates and everything so that he can at least catch a few games. But it is unlikely that he will be there for all the games. That’s for sure.”
In another emerging news from the KKR camp, since the time the team parted ways with Delhi batsman Gautam Gambhir one of the major debate has about who will lead the franchise in the upcoming season.

The management however cleared the air this morning as they announced that Indian wicket-keeper Dinesh Karthik had been appointed as the captain of the Kolkata based franchise.
