IPL 2018: Shivam Mavi Appreciates MS Dhoni for his Useful advice

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) young fast bowlers Shivam Mavi has lauded Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper MS Dhoni for his wonderful piece of advice.

Meanwhile, Mavi has done so far in this league and has impressed with his brisk pace and accuracy. Although he has failed to bag wickets, he has been economical throughout.

Moreover, Mavi bowled three overs for 21 runs as they restricted Chennai for a modest total. The top-orders contributed with useful runs with Dhoni being at his usual self. He hammered 43 off just 25 balls to post a challenging total.

However, some decent overs from KKR bowlers ensured that the total doesn’t go out of reach.

In reply, Sunil Narine provided a blistering start to Kolkata scoring 32 runs off 20 balls. Young Shubman Gill (57*) and skipper Dinesh Karthik (45*) played decent knock to see their team through. While Gill brought his first IPL fifty, Karthik went after the bowlers. The duo chased down the target with 14 balls to spare.

Meanwhile, Sunil Narine has been outstanding with both bat and ball. He bagged two for 20 in his four overs before providing a blistering start scoring 32 runs od 20 balls.

Mavi hails Dhoni

The 19-year-old is growing in stature and this is a learning curve for him. Sharing dressing room with experienced campaigners and world-renowned stars, Mavi will grow in confidence from this.

He hailed Dhoni for the useful piece of advice and admitted that his guidance is priceless. Mavi also mentioned Dhoni’s qualities and admitted he will continue to inspire people.

Meanwhile, Kolkata is in a good position and is in line to qualify for the playoffs.
