Sehwag hails Warne as the greatest leg-spinner.
Meanwhile, churning out the stat, Shane Warne was able to dismiss Sehwag three times in the longest format of the game.
The veteran leg-spinner was able to get the better off combative batsman on one occasion in the 50-over format.
However, Warne was not able to scalp Sehwag’s wicket in the Indian Premier League (IPL) folklore after lifting the coveted trophy during the inaugural edition of the cash-rich league in 2008 for Rajasthan.
Warne was known for his big turning deliveries. As a wrist spinner, he was able to extract turn from any kind of a surface.
Meanwhile, Sehwag’s pyrotechnics are also well known. The pugnacious batsman played his part in revolutionising the attacking mindset of the batsmen during his career.
Currently, Warne is providing his insights to the Jaipur-based outfit Royals. Warne was instrumental in winning the maiden edition with the Royals as he had led them with aplomb.
Meanwhile, in this ongoing eleventh season, Rajasthan has won half of their games with six wins and as many losses.
In addition, Sehwag has played a significant role for Punjab with former Australian batsman Brad Hodge, who serves as the head coach. Punjab franchise has had also played one match less than Rajasthan. Thus, both the teams are still in the contention for the playoffs.
Sehwag took to Instagram to share the post with Shane Warne and Hodge.
Sehwag post read as, “The greatest leg spinner ever, Warne!”.
