IPL 2019: Kings XI Punjab Appoints Ryan Harris as Bowling Coach

After letting Virender Sehwag out, Kings XI Punjab asked Venkatesh Prasad to move away from his respective bowling coach role. The former Australian fast bowler, Ryan Harris, who has got great skills, will be assisting Kings XI Punjab for the upcoming edition of Indian Premier League (IPL 2019).
In fact, the franchise made wholesome modifications to their support staff. They brought Craig McMillan (fielding coach), Brett Harrop (physio), Sridharan Sriram (batting coach) and Prasanna Raman (high-performance coach) to the side.

Ryan Harris will be taking the role of Venkatesh Prasad, who took the position in the previous edition. It wasn’t a great season for Punjab, as they once again finished in the bottom half of the table.
Recently, Kings XI Punjab appointed Mike Hesson to be the head coach of the franchise for the fresh edition. Speaking of the latest appointments, Hesson appreciated the latest move to rope in quality individuals in the setup.

“Having quality coaches like Harris and McMillan will be a great asset to the team. They have both performed as players on the big stage and have made the transition into quality coaches. They will be excellent additions to the coaching team,” Hesson said on new appointments.
Well, Kings XI Punjab once again made surprising exclusions for the upcoming season. They left out Sehwag and also the players like Yuvraj Singh and Axar Patel, who was retained by them in IPL 2018. They also traded Marcus Stoinis for Mandeep Singh with RCB.
All in all, Punjab would be hoping for the change in their fortunes for the upcoming edition. The auction for the upcoming edition of IPL is scheduled to be held at Jaipur on December 18th.
