SunRisers Hyderabad pacer Khaleel Ahmed has clarified that he did not laugh at Dwayne Bravo after dismissing the Chennai Super Kings allrounder when both the teams locked horns on Tuesday.
The left-arm pacer was already facing the heat on social media for his scuffle with Rajasthan Royals’ Rahul Tewatia and he did not help his cause with his celebration after dismissing Bravo for a duck. It was an off-cutter from Khaleel Ahmed outside the leg-stump and Bravo wanted to loft it straight.

However, the West Indies star failed to read the delivery and was completely beaten by it. The ball went on to shatter his stumps. And while Bravo turned back to walk off the field, Khaleel Ahmed was seen smiling while putting his hand on his mouth. His celebration did not go down well with a number of fans who took to social media to slam him.
Here are some of the reactions to his celebration:
Khaleel’s sheepish grin after getting Bravo with a half-tracker is your lede for the report.

It was not nice of Khaleel to laugh sarcastically at Bravo after getting him.
Shows the class. Shame.

Not a nice gesture from Khaleel to put out a nakkalmaxx laugh after dismissing Bravo.
Bro, you just got smoked by a 20 year old in the last game. And today, by Jaddu who had the last laugh. Learn your place.

Khaleel Ahmed explains the reason:
After being called out from several quarters, Khaleel Ahmed, on Thursday, took to Twitter to clarify himself and explain the reason behind his celebration. The SRH star insisted that he did not laugh at Bravo and the reason behind it was something else. Calling Bravo a true legend, Khaleel tweeted:
“I wasn’t laughing on Dj Bravo, there was some other reason,he is true legend, he is big brother to me “

As far as that match is concerned, CSK beat SRH by 20 runs to get back to winning ways. Batting first, the three-time champions posted 167 for 6 in the allotted 20 overs. In reply, SRH could only manage 147 for 8.
