SunRisers Hyderabad will be looking to keep their slim playoff hopes alive when they take on Delhi Capitals in the 47th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020.

With 4 wins and seven defeats so far, SunRisers Hyderabad are languishing at the seventh spot in the points table. Their chances of making of making it to the next round is absolutely bleak. Even if they go on to win their remaining three leagues games, there is no guarantee that the Hyderabad-based outfit would make it to the playoffs.

On the other hand, a defeat tonight will make them the second side after Chennai Super Kings to be eliminated from the playoffs race. SunRisers Hyderabad are coming into this game after suffering a heartbreaking defeat against Kings XI Punjab in their previous outing when they failed to chase down 126 despite being 100 for 3 after 16 overs.

They had gone on to suffer an almighty collapse to be all out for 114. Delhi Capitals, on the other hand, are all but assured of a place in the playoffs with 7 wins from 11 games. Currently at the second spot, Delhi Capitals have a chance to seal the playoff spot tonight with a win.

The Shreyas Iyer-led side had suffered a crushing 59-run defeat at the hands of Kolkata Knight Riders in its previous game and would be looking to get back to winning ways tonight.
