Mumbai Indians allrounder Hardik Pandya had a scary moment during the clash against Rajasthan Royals on Tuesday when he was nearly hit on his head by a dangerous beamer from Jofra Archer. The India star did well to duck in time to save himself.

The incident took place on the first ball of the 18th over when the ball slipped out of Archer’s hand and went directly towards Hardik Pandya’s head. But before the ball could hit him on his head, he ducked as the ball went for a four. The delivery was clocked at 152kph as even the wicketkeeper failed to collect the ball.

Pandya was stunned with the delivery as he was seen sitting on the ground after somehow managing to save himself before the England star raised his hands in apology. Three balls later, Archer went on to hit Suryakumar Yadav on helmet with a well-directed bouncer.
