Learning with every game, Bumrah has been splendid with the white ball and has formed a new-ball formation with brilliant Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who was the pick of the bowlers for India in the first inning while being on his maiden tour to South Africa.

After being introduced in the best Playing XI of Team India, Bumrah bagged his maiden in the form of experienced South African campaigner AB de Villiers when the later opted for the cover drive, but the inside edge crashed onto the stumps to see the promising bowler ecstatic while opening his Test account.

While going from strength to strength, the right-arm fast bowler has proved himself in every test and simultaneously become a huge asset for the national team which saw him being most sought-after bowler when it comes to the death overs.

Being a wicket-taking option, on Friday Bumrah managed to claim the big fish to claim top-notch cricketers on his debut across formats.

Moreover, the prized wickets include his national team skipper during IPL which further saw him dismissing Steven Smith and his deputy David Warner in One-day Internationals and Twenty20 Internationals respectively.

Across 64 international fixtures, Bumrah has bagged 97 scalps, and he is further setting the eye to dominate across formats.

Here’s is the list of the wickets for Jasprit Bumrah in his maiden games:

In his Indian Premier League (IPL) on April 4, 2013, the debut for Mumbai India, Jasprit Bumrah went on to dismiss Virat Kohli, in the fifth over of the innings when Ricky Ponting was leading the side.

Bumrah trapped the Royal Challengers Bangalore batsman in front of the stumps.

In his ODI appearance on January 2016, Jasprit Bumrah was bowling his third over when he dismissed Australian skipper Steven Smith, who was caught at short mid-wicket after attempting for the pull shot.

However, after just three days on January 26, Jasprit Bumrah was handed over a debut cap for the Twenty20 International cricket which saw him claiming the wicket of dangerman David Warner in the series Down Under.

Warner was caught at mid-on after attempting for a full-blown pull short which further saw Bumrah finishing with the figures of three for 23 in four overs.
