In 2018, Hanuma Vihari scored a stunning 183, which came in the losing cause. In 2019, he scored 114 runs in the first innings tally of 330 and then smashed an unbeaten 152* runs and still counting on the day 4 of the game.
In another story, Hanuma Vihari became the second player after Shikhar Dhawan to score centuries in both the innings of an Irani Cup match. Shikhar Dhawan achieved the feat in 2011 against Ranji champions Rajasthan.
Hanuma Vihari heroics helped Rest Of India to hold the grip of the match. In first innings, he attached 125-run partnership with Mayank Agarwal and then added a 229-run partnership for Ajinkya Rahane in the second innings.
On both occasions, Hanuma Vihari stayed till the end to give a safe total on the board for his side. All in all, it has been a stunning achievement for the young lad, who recently bagged the Test cap for India. He was also part of Indian National Cricket Team’s successful tour to Australia.
