Jasprit Bumrah Shares Childhood Photo On Children's Day

On the occasion of Children’s Day – marked to celebrate the birth anniversary of India’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah shared one of his childhood pictures with his mother.

The whole of India celebrate Children’s Day on November 14. People from all sphere posted their heartfelt stories from their childhood to wish the children. The day is specially celebrated to increase awareness of the rights, care, and eduction of every child in the country.

Jasprit Bumrah, the top-ranked fast bowler in One-Day Internationals, also took on social media site Twitter to wish everyone on the occasion of Children’s Day. He also shared a picture from his young days with his mother while recognising her efforts in his career since childhood.

“The hair was messier then but my mother being by my side is constant. Wishing you all a happy ChildrensDay. #Childrensday2019,” Jasprit Bumrah tweeted.

Meanwhile, the 25-year-old Jasprit Bumrah sustained a minor stress fracture in his lower back in September which kept him out of the series against South Africa and Bangladesh. Many expected Jasprit Bumrah to return to action but the management doesn’t want to risk him considering the ICC T20 World Cup looming ahead.

However, in a bid to regain fitness, Bumrah has started his training at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru. Currently, he is training in the gym under the watchful eyes of the physios to come back to his best before resuming his India duties again.
