Rajasthan Royals’ seamer Jofra Archer pegged back SunRisers Hyderabad by picking the wicket of skipper David Warner and Jonny Bairstow in defence of 154 in 20 overs. Earlier, SunRisers Hyderabad won the toss and restricted the Rajasthan Royals to an achievable target; however, Jofra Archer disturbed their plans early on by picking up the two big fish.
After dismissing David Warner in the very first over with the new ball as Ben Stokes took an outstanding diving catch at slip, he removed Jonny Bairstow. The delivery bowled by Archer seamed in off the length as the ball travelled through the big gate left by Bairstow to clip the middle stump. In the chase of 155, the SunRisers found themselves 16-2 in the third over.
Nevertheless, Manish Pandey and Vijay Shankar have repaired the innings expertly as the former has been hitting the ball cleanly. The duo has combined for a century stand and put the SunRisers in track for the fourth victory of the season. The Orange Army made two changes to their side, bringing in Jason Holder for Kane Williamson and Shahbaz Nadeem for Basil Thampi.
