Veteran Indian pacer S Sreesanth has opened up on young Indian pacer Kartik Tyagi after the latter made his IPL debut for Rajasthan Royals (RR) against Mumbai Indians (MI). He was handed his first cap of the IPL by none other than the Rajasthan skipper Steve Smith as the pacer has deservedly made his mark.
Kartik Tyagi grabbed the headlines globally when he competed in the ICC Under 19 World Cup for team India. The tournament took place earlier this year in South Africa. The India National Cricket Team enjoyed a glorious run in the tournament as they qualified for the final. Unfortunately, they couldn’t clinch the title as Bangladesh beat them in the penultimate game of the tournament.

His rhythm and run-up is quite like what I used to have in my initial days in cricket. When I started in the MRF pace foundation, I worked on my action and changed it but his approach and bending down really reminds me of my younger days.”

“He (Kartik) has got an amazing pace, amazing approach, and a good bounce that compliments his bowling action. His finish is more like Ishant (Sharma) and he has got an Under 19 World Cup hat-trick also and I wish him all the best for his future,” Sreesanth further added.
Rajasthan Royals On A Losing Streak
Rajasthan Royals have been on a losing streak for a long time in IPL 2020 so far. They began their campaign on a high as they clinched two wins in the first two games. However, the downfall hasn’t stopped since then. They have lost 3 games on the trot and are currently on the last second spot in the IPL 2020 points table.
