The Indian Cricket Team has started its outdoor training sessions in Sydney ahead of the high-voltage limited-overs series and Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
Several cricketers have taken to their respective social media accounts to share their training videos. On Monday, the official Instagram handle of the Board of Control for Cricket in India [BCCI] shared a video in which KL Rahul and off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin were involved in a rather unique training session.
“How is that for innovation? @rashwin99 grabs racquet while @rahulkl faces volleys with his bat #TeamIndia,” BCCI wrote while sharing the video on Instagram.
On Sunday, Ravichandran Ashwin had shared a video on his social media handles where he can be seen bowling to Test vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane. The video also featured all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja speaking to bowling coach Bharat Arun and Mohammed Shami preparing for his net session in the background.
And, on Monday, Mohammed Shami too shared a video on his Twitter handle, where he is seen sweating it put in the nets.
Team India is currently undergoing its mandatory 14-day quarantine in Sydney. However, the visitors have been allowed to train outdoors after returning negative on the Covid-PCR test. India will kickstart their two-month-long tour with a three-match ODI series which will start in Sydney from November 27.
