KL Rahul eager to play under Ravichandran Ashwin for KXIP this season of IPL

Shortly after the news of Ravichandran Ashwin being appointed as the KXIP broke within the cricketing fraternity, KL Rahul took to Twitter to welcome the move from Preity Zinta’s franchise.

Earlier, KL Rahul was one of the most expensive buys in the IPL Auction with a price tag of INR 11 crores. Earlier, Lokesh Rahul was an integral part of Royal Challengers Bangalore campaign under the captaincy of Virat Kohli.

Ravi Ashwin shot towards international fame with the help of his IPL stints under Dhoni. However, CSK chose not to retain the Chennai cricketer for the upcoming seasons. Therefore, KXIP, in dire need of captaincy material from Indian nationality, bagged the services of Ashwin and named him as captain officially.
