With not much to do nowadays due to the pandemic, cricketers across the country are highly active on social media. International cricket came to a standstill in March in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak. The ODI between Australia and New Zealand on March 13 was the last international game.

As far as India are concerned, their last game was the Test match in New Zealand. The Men in Blue were engaged in an ODI series with South Africa at home when the series was postponed after the first game was washed out. And while international cricket will resume this month with the three-match Test series between England and West Indies, there is no confirmation over when will India return to field.

And with ample time on their hands, cricketers have been quite busy with their social media activities. Since the lockdown started, the likes of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah and others did a number of live sessions on Instagram. Not only that, cricketers are also keeping their fans updated about their daily lives as well as entertaining the fans with some hilarious activities on social media.

Something similar happened when India star KL Rahul decided to post a picture of himself drinking coffee. The right-handed batsman took to Instagram to share a picture wherein he could be seen enjoying a cup of coffee. And the post immediately invited hilarious reactions from the fans as they reminded the batsman of the ‘Koffee with Karan’ controversy.

Well, India skipper Virat Kohli also joined the fun. However, the captain did not taunt his teammate on the controversial incident that took place last year but instead pulled his legs.

“Cup ganda hai,” wrote Kohli. However, KL Rahul had the last laugh during the banter as he replied: “Lekin dil saaf hai”
