KL Rahul Posts a Heartwarming Message for Mayank Agarwal

One of the most prolific runs scorers in the domestic circuit of India, Mayank Agarwal tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Aashita Sood.

It was a few days ago that Mayank shared some of the pictures of the preparations of his marriage. The duo got engaged in the month of January, this year.

Now, as they are nearing their marriage, all the preparations are going on in full swing. Mayank has already shared few pictures with his fiancé Aashita.

However, it is expected to be a lot more after they have already tied the knot on Monday (June 4).

The confirmation of their marriage was definitely one of the most refreshing moments for Karnataka-based batsman Mayank especially given the fact that he had a pretty poor season in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP).

Agarwal failed to make a mark during the course of the tournament. He was bought by Punjab for INR one crore. Pertinently, the right-handed batsman came into the tournament on the back of some exceptional batting performances in the Vijay-Hazare Trophy.

Mayank was at his consistent best and played like a champion. However, he wasn’t quite able to replicate his form in the T20 league. He was given enough chances. However, after consistently failing for a major part of the tournament, he was later dropped from the playing XI.

Despite a brilliant start to their campaign, Punjab failed to qualify for the playoffs. They won five of their first six games but went on to lose seven of their last eight matches which prevented them from making it through.

Rahul was the standout performer for Punjab: 

KL Rahul was the standout performer for Punjab. He was at his imperious best and was one of the most consistent batsmen during the course of the tournament.

The stylish right-hander provided the much-needed brisk starts on quite a few occasions.

Rahul, who is a close friend of Mayank Agarwal shared a picture of him and his wife Aashista. They shared a moment of bromance and romance. He was the style quotient during Mayank’s marriage.
