India managed to win the first One-day International against England quite easily with eight wickets in hand. Although many thought that the series would be very even, Virat Kohli’s men were right on the money at the Trent Bridge.

Former England cricketer Michael Vaughan sarcastically took a dig at the Australia team after an all-round performance by India.

England and Australia recently played a One-day International series and One-off Twenty20 International game. The hosts England managed to win all the games against the Aussies and made a statement about their brand of cricket.

However, their performances against India was not as dominant as against Australia. The hosts already lost the T20I series 2-1 to India.

Also, the latest loss in the first ODI meant they will now need to win their next two ODI games to clinch the series.

Michael Vaughan in his tweet wrote, Can we have Australia back please …….

It is a sly dig at Aussies after their poor performances in the recent times. The Aussie team are currently in a crisis situation after the ball-tampering scandal that surfaced in Cape Town Test in March, this year. The incidents followed saw vital cogs Steven Smith and David Warner banned for 12 months respectively.

But England team has euphoria over their clinical victories against Australia and look at the task at their hands.

Meanwhile, India can relax and continue the good work that they have been doing since landing in the United Kingdom.

Kuldeep Yadav Continues to Impress as Michael Vaughan has been in awe in the recent past.

Wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav has once again proved to be a nightmare for English batsmen. The left arm mystery bowler had run through English batting lineup with utmost ease.

In the process, he managed impressive figures of six for 25 in his 10 overs. This is the best figures for any left-arm spinner in ODI cricket history. Also, he now possesses the best figures by a spinner against England in their backyard.

The level at which Kuldeep is growing is definitely a positive sign for Virat Kohli and Team India heading into 2019 World Cup. His heroics once again earned him “Man of the Match” award.
