One of the first names to strike for the fans when they hear fielding, Mohammad Kaif showered words of praise on Ravindra Jadeja after taking the spectacular catch on Day 2 at Christchurch’s Hagley Oval. It was a one-handed stunner from Jadeja, which ended the threatening partnership of Kyle Jamieson and Neil Wagner.
India’s struggles against the tail had come to the fore once again as Jamieson and Wagner put on 51 runs for the ninth wicket. Hanuma Vihari hadn’t helped matters by putting Wagner down at fine leg and that is when Mohammed Shami bowled another bouncer at Wagner.
Terrific stuff from Ravindra Jadeja: Mohammad Kaif
Wagner played a pull shot on Shami’s delivery quite well and the ball was looking set to sail over the deep square leg boundary. However, Jadeja came running in from the square leg to pull off the sensational catch with just one hand.
Thus, Jadeja himself opened up on claiming a one-handed stunner.

Tweeting on the same, Mohammad Kaif stated it was top stuff from the southpaw and also gave a couple of lively tags to him.
His tweet read “Sir Jadeja for a reason! Jadeja Airlines, flying high! Terrific stuff,” Kaif tweeted.

New Zealand vs India 2020: As it happened –
Shami, Bumrah and Jadeja combined to send New Zealand packing for 235 runs and thus India took a slender lead of seven runs at the end of the first innings.
Shami took four wickets while Bumrah (3/62) also doing well with the ball to tame New Zealand’s wagging tail after they had threatened – to punish India at one stage with Jamieson looking particularly impressive.
New Zealand came out all guns blazing in the second innings and led by Trent Boult they reduced India to 90 for six at stumps. The visitors have taken the lead of 97 with Rishabh Pant and Hanuma Vihari at the crease and Ravindra Jadeja is yet to come to bat.
