Kuldeep Yadav didn’t have a good time in the recently concluded Indian Premier League (IPL) while plying his trade for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). However, every cricket lovers have pinned their hopes on the young spinner to lead Indian National Cricket Team in the upcoming ICC World Cup 2019. The presence of MS Dhoni behind the stump has been of great help to Kuldeep over the years. However, in a recent chat, the young spinner has revealed that even Dhoni goes wrong at times and that he is a human being.

Kuldeep will play a crucial role in England

Meanwhile, Kuldeep Yadav played only nine matches before the management decided to drop him. In those nine games, the left-arm spinner managed to pick only four wickets shelling out runs at an economy rate of 8.66 contrary to Kuldeep’s usual economy rate. However, there are no signs of worry and the cricketer from Uttar Pradesh will bounce back in England. Moreover, he has a strong record in those conditions, and Virat Kohli will look forward to him.

MS Dhoni is arguably the best skippers of all generations. His decisions from behind the stumps are like gold, and he has made the review system synonymous to himself. When tipped about whether Dhoni also goes wrong or not, Kuldeep Yadav revealed that there are a few times when the former India captain also commits mistakes. But he also admitted that they can’t say it to him given his stature.

“There are a lot of times he (Dhoni) goes wrong but then you can’t say that to him,” Kuldeep said at the sidelines of the CEAT Cricket Rating Awards.

Furthermore, Kuldeep Yadav said MS Dhoni is someone who puts forward his views in between overs only when he feels it is required. His presence will be a massive advantage for Virat Kohli in England when the tournament starts from May 30.

“Zyada baat nahi karte woh (he doesn’t speak much). He speaks only between overs if he thinks he needs to point out something,” added Kuldeep.

India will begin their World Cup campaign against South Africa on June 5 at the Rose Bowl Cricket Ground in Southampton.
