MS Dhoni Reveals His Fear Before The Start Of IPL 2019 Season

The Chennai Super Kings franchise made an excellent comeback in the last edition winning the title for the third time after serving two years of suspension.  The Men in Yellow defeated the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the final of the 2018 edition. However, skipper MS Dhoni discloses his worst fear before the start of IPL 2019 season.

Dhoni reveals his fear about the two players

Ambati Rayudu and Shane Watson played a crucial role in the franchise in the last years. It was because of Watson that CSK lifted the title for the third time. He slammed a century in the final match against SRH in the last edition to lift the illustrious trophy. However, skipper MS Dhoni revealed that he was worried about his two openers, Shane Watson and Ambati Rayudu, the most in a coffee table book launch which is based on the journey of India Cements in Chennai on Friday.

He received the first copy of the coffee table book, Defying the Paradigm, from the Tamil Nadu Cheif Minister. During the event, Dhoni recalled his journey with the CSK franchise since the inception of the IPL and also denied the team’s existence without India Cements.

Rayudu and Watson are aggressive when it comes to batting. However, the former Indian National Cricket Team skipper said that he is worried about their dynamic nature.

“The only thing that I was worried before the season was about Watson and Rayudu. They both are aggressive in nature. Rayudu if he feels that it’s a wide or no-ball & if the umpire does not gives it, he will stretch his hands,” MS Dhoni said.

The duo has been the critical component behind the success of Chennai Super Kings. Although Dhoni has been in sensational behind the stumps and his leading capabilities, without these two, it would have been difficult to win the triumph for three times.
