Rohit Sharma is one of the few players who have grown his game to the next level in the past decade. He had a fantastic stint for India in the white-ball cricket before transforming himself into a Test opener as well. Speaking of the same, MSK Prasad wishes Rohit Sharma to have a remarkable time in the away series.
Recently, Rohit smashed a double century in Test Cricket after taking a new responsibility for India. However, the fans and experts have expected him to have a challenge in the upcoming series against New Zealand but unfortunately, he suffered an injury to miss the Test series.
We know his unbelievable talent – MSK Prasad
Prasad hailed the Mumbai player for his transformation as an all-format player. He lauds the talent of a senior batsman and wishes him to deliver in overseas conditions for India.
Well, a fair share goes to Prasad when it comes to Rohit’s success as a Test opener. He was one of the key officials, who accepted the change of his batting position.

“Well, Rohit is now an all-format player. His transformation is stunning. We know his unbelievable talent in white-ball cricket with those double centuries. And, in the last four to five months as a Test opener, he has shown his class. I wish he has one good away series. That should change his mindset,” Prasad was quoted as saying by Sportstar.
BCCI named Mayank Agarwal as his replacement in ODI format while one of Prithvi Shaw or Shubman Gill will get a chance to open with Mayank Agarwal in the Test series.
Meanwhile, Rohit will head back to Bangalore to train at National Cricket Academy (NCA).
So far, Rohit appeared in 32 Tests alongside 224 ODIs and 108 T20I games for India. He scored 2141 runs in Tests and surpassed a 9000-run milestone in ODI format.
In the shorter format, he amassed 2773 runs to stay among the leading run-scorers in the T20 format.
